Westminster provides a child-centered, play-based curriculum for preschoolers beginning with our two-morning a week program for 2 ½ year olds.  Our focus is on developing each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and large and small motor skills in a creative, nurturing environment.

• Provide a learning environment in which children grow intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally in a developmentally appropriate manner. 

• Encourage children to make decisions and problem solve in various situations during the school day. 

• Foster children’s natural love of learning by building on their curiosity in the areas of language, emerging literacy, art, music, math, science, and social studies in such a way that learning becomes fun and meaningful. 

• Work closely with parents to nurture a healthy home/school connection.
